We all have them. The impossible person in the family who doesn’t know what they want, or does but won’t say, and still needs something to open on Christmas morning. Something funny or practical? He likes wine, I think, or would he prefer something to keep him warm? And then there’s everyone else! Do I need anything else for my wife? Did we get anything for my Sister in-law?
I think I’m in trouble here.
I grab my coat and run to the car with a list, hastily written on the back of an envelope in crayon (I couldn’t find a pen).
You guessed it, we’re off to Marks!
I need four gifts, one for my Sister in-law, one (more) for my wife, one for my Father in-law, and one for my office Secret Santa.

Fortunately, there are lots of shelves and displays full of Christmas-themed socks, sweaters, hats and even underwear to choose from. I think I’ll probably just go for socks and hats for my in-laws though.
As we go around the store, my arms are filling up and my toddler is getting fussy. Hold on, I’ve had an idea.

For my office Secret Santa, I’ve really got no idea where to start. Again, it looks like Marks has thought of everything and provided me with a collection of potential gifts for the person I don’t really know but still have to buy something for.

Ok, I think I’m really making progress. Now I just need a few more pieces for my wife’s stocking. How about some new pajamas, some cozy socks and photo coasters?
Also, while I’m here, I might as well get myself some extra socks. Since I’ve started to go back to the gym, all my old ones have worn holes. I like these ones because they’re designed for comfort while running and don’t slip around causing blisters.
Did I forget anyone? I’d better get this Burt’s Bees gift set for the person I forgot to add to the list.

Of course, if you still can’t decide what to get, you’re always safe with a handy gift card. Hint hint.
