ReadyCard is built with privacy as a core principle. We believe emergency information should be available when needed — without being shared, tracked, or stored elsewhere.

Overview

ReadyCard does not collect, track, transmit, or sell personal data.

All information you enter into ReadyCard is stored locally on your device only and remains fully under your control.

Information We Collect

None.

ReadyCard does not collect:

  • Personal information
  • Contact information
  • Health or medical data
  • Usage data
  • Identifiers
  • Analytics or diagnostics
  • Location data

We do not require accounts, logins, or sign-ups.

How Your Information Is Used

Any information you enter (such as emergency contacts, medical details, photos, or notes) is used only to:

  • Display your emergency card within the app
  • Enable quick access to emergency information
  • Generate a PDF when you explicitly choose to export

No data is accessed or shared without your direct action.

Data Storage

  • All data is stored locally on your iPhone or iPad
  • ReadyCard works fully offline
  • No cloud sync is required or enabled by default
  • Profile photos are stored locally on device storage

If you delete the app or use the Delete All Data option, all stored information is permanently removed from the device.

Security & Authentication

ReadyCard offers optional device-level protection:

  • Face ID
  • Touch ID
  • Device passcode

When enabled, authentication is required to view emergency card details. Home and profile management can remain accessible for faster navigation.

ReadyCard does not store biometric data. All authentication is handled by Apple’s system APIs.

PDF Export & Sharing

If you choose to export an emergency card as a PDF:

  • A file is generated locally on your device
  • Sharing is initiated only by you
  • Once shared, the file is outside ReadyCard’s control

We recommend sharing PDFs only with trusted individuals or services.

Third-Party Services

ReadyCard does not use:

  • Advertising networks
  • Analytics providers
  • Tracking SDKs
  • Third-party data processors

No data is sent to external servers.

Children’s Privacy

ReadyCard does not knowingly collect information from children.

Profiles for children are created and managed entirely by a parent or guardian on their own device. No data leaves the device.

Your Control

You are always in control of your information. You can:

  • Edit or delete profiles at any time
  • Remove individual data fields
  • Delete all stored data instantly
  • Delete the app to permanently remove all information

Changes to This Policy

If this Privacy Policy changes, the updated version will be made available within the app before changes take effect.
