My trusty leather boots have a hole in the sole. I’ve been wearing them pretty much every day for two years, apart from when I’m either in shorts or in deep snow. The grips have gone and now they’re so thin I can feel the breeze on my toes. Not much good for adventuring outside and doing very outdoorsy things, like taking photos of leaves.

Time for an upgrade!
I got my hands on (and feet in) a pair of Kamik Griffon Boots from Altitude Sports and my daughter picked a pair of Kamik Parker 2 boots to keep her snug through the Winter.

Let’s start with the grip. WOW! These aren’t going anywhere. This moss was especially slippery but I had no problem climbing this mighty boulder. I’m basically Bear Grylls. The toes have a waterproof cap so walking through snow or puddles won’t leave you with wet socks, and there’s a really comfortable padded top section which stops them from rubbing.

My daughter picked out a pair of Kamik Parker 2 boots, which are super warm and suuuuper cute! Just look at her little face when she opened the box.
The Parker 2 boots are perfectly grippy for slippery sidewalks on the way to pre-school. Designed for everything from walks to daycare in the slush to building a snowman on the front yard, these super-warm toddler snow boots are perfect for family life in the city. Featuring Kamik’s DriDefense membranes so they’re 100% waterproof.

Disclaimer: The lovely people at Kamik and Altitude-Sports.com sent us these boots to try and love. We did! They’re genuinely awesome and if I didn’t like them, I would say that, but I do, I really do! I just wish the winter weather would hurry up so I can strut my stuff in my sweet new boots.
